As students of the Masters Program for Public Management, it is our goal to become public-minded
and service-oriented leaders and managers in the future. We are grateful for the privilege and trust
given to us to immerse with Purok Pasto community.

For two weeks, we have been coordinating with different barangay workers assessing the needs of
Barangay 12 – A. We were able to determine the need to improve the health of children particularly
the area with great malnourishment rate. Thus, we came up with “Asenso sa Purok Pasto.”

This is a project targeting the women and children particularly in the promotion of healthcare in
hope that this would educate Purok Pasto’s community to better childrearing, nutrition, personal
hygiene and as a result create a healthy environment to thrive and live.

We are requesting for your institution’s support to help us educate and promote awareness that will
benefit the family. This will be implemented on September 8, 2018 along with other family wellness
activities.
