Research Instrument

This study mainly uses research-made interview questioners which serve as the main

instrument of the study to attend to the sub-variables. The questionnaires contain several sections

under which are the question directed to the following: separation, anxiety and timidity.

This study also uses extensive literature search where all readily available materials such

as relevant trade publications, newspaper, magazines, online data bases, and any other scholarly

materials such as books, dissertations, journals, and theses are used to create a concrete support and

foundation study.

Example:

5. Data Gathering Procedure

Process which the data is gathered

Example:

This section describe how the researchers administered the data gathering procedure.

Phase . The researcher let the 10 respondents sign a consent form to answer the questionnaires.

Phase . The respondents are given the questionnaires and are asked to answer it with all

truthfulness and honesty.

Phase . The respondents are given sample time to read the instruction and give their responses on

the questions.

Phase V. All the questionnaires are collected and responses are duly kept confidential.

Phase V. Responses of the respondents are dialectically analyzed and objectively interpreted.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The chapter presents the research design, research locale, research respondents, research

instruments, data gathering procedure, and statistical treatment utilized by the researchers in the

duration of this study.

1.Research Design

Describe the research mode whether it is Qualitative of Quantitative research, or if the

researchers will use specific research type such as Descriptive, Survey, Historical,

Ethnography, Grounded Theory, or Case Study (Qualitative)

Example:

This study uses the Qualitative Method of conducting a research. The main purpose of

this research design is to examine the (general perception of the students towards the existence of

cross dressing in the campus). This method will be used to interview and back up the findings from

the method of data to another.

Data gathered from these interview, written or oral, are provided an objective and

dialectic interpretation or analyses to device relevant findings as to what are (the perceptions of the

students towards the cross-dressing phenomenon in University of Cebu – Maritime Education and

Training Center).
2. Research Locale (also known as Environment of Setting this refers to the place where the study is

conducted

Example:

This study is conducted in the University of Cebu – Maritime Education and Training Center.

The school has an sample amount of students qualified as the respondents of this study. Over the

years, the school has been one of the prestigious institutions in Region V because of it excellence in

all fields most particularly in Maritime Education and Training.


3. Research Respondents

- The target population and the sample frame

Example:

The respondents of this study consist of 10 from ( Grade 11 of the Pre-Baccalaureate Strand).

Each of the respondents answers the same type of questioners which has one (depends) part.

Respondents are selected based on purposeful sampling. They are qualified based on certain

qualifications and aboard into the purpose of the study. They have undergone pre-orientations and are

given options for their convenience. The respondents responses are kept completely confidential and

are mainly for the research purpose only.
