WHY KYC?

 Know your customer ('KYC') is the process of a business (Sodexo) identifying and verifying its

consumers (Sodexo Card Users)

 KYC guidelines are issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

 As per RBI Master Direction (issued on 11-Oct-17 and updated on 29-Dec-17) it is mandatory for all

prepaid instrument issuers to carry out KYC (click here to read)

 As a leader in compliance and corporate responsibility, Sodexo is moving to abide by RBI’s norms

a. Aadhaar Number: Preferred
b. If Aadhaar Number is unavailable, a copy of any one of the below documents for uploading:
• Driving License
• Voter ID
• Passport
› File Format: PNG, JPG, JPEG. File size less than 1MB

 Step 1
 Format: Send SMS ‘CARD<space>ADHR<space>AADHAAR NUMBER’
 Send to: 9225660070
 Send From: Registered Mobile Number
 Step 2
 You will receive the following SMS : “Thanks for your response. Please SMS ‘CARD ADHR Y’ to 9225660070 to
accept Aadhaar terms & conditions. Visit http://bit.ly/AadharTnC for TnC”
 SMS ‘CARD ADHR Y’ to 9225660070
 You will receive a confirmation : “Thanks for response, we have received your Aadhaar details.”

Where: Activation Portal (https://kyc.sodexobrs.com) OR via SMS

1. Complete KYC
2. View KYC Status

Enter OTP and click ‘Validate’

CONSUMER HAS AADHAAR : STEP 2

Click on ‘Submit KYC’ PROCESS COMPLETE!

Click on ‘I do not have Aadhaar’ Chose document from list

FAQs
 Is any further action required for consumers who provide KYC details?
› Aadhaar is preferred. Consumers who provide Aadhaar will not be required to provide any details in
future

 If a consumer has multiple cards (meal/ gift), is it required to complete KYC for each card separately?
› No, as long as all cards have the same registered mobile number no separate KYC is required for
each card

 Is there verification done by Sodexo for documents uploaded?


› If the consumer has submitted any non-Aadhaar ID, it will be verified by Sodexo
› Sodexo will verify submitted document within 7 working days from the date of upload

 How will the consumer be communicated about KYC status for non-Aadhaar documents?
› The same will be communicated via SMS and email (if available) within 7 working days
› The status will also be updated on the KYC portal (https://kyc.sodexobrs.com)
