B. Motivation

Okay class, I want everybody to stand up. I have a

set of word cards here. I want everybody to do
what written in the word card.

Very good! It’s the word that express an action.

C. Presentation

Before we go to our topic, let us read first a short

poem named “My School”

In the poem, what is referred to as a place that is
cool?

Based on the poem, give the activities that can be
done in school.
Read, Write, Dance, Skip, Hop, Prance

From the poem you read, can you underline the

action words.

movements of person, animals and even things.
Action words are also called verbs.

Can you give me an examples of sentence with an

words or verb.

There are also an action words that are not

physical like thinking, hoping and dreaming.
Those are the words that we do in our mind.
