Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
8.15 – 9.15 am 1. Write an essay based on 3 series pictures with guidance.

Activities:
1. Teacher introduces SVO table.
2. Pupils given picture series and brainstormed on it.
3. Pupils divided in groups to write simple sentences based on the pictures.
Attendance : 4. Teacher checks pupils answer and gives feedback.
5. Pupils then rewrite the essay individually.

Activities: Pre – lesson : Pupils listen to a chant and identify the reoccuring words.
Lesson Delivery :
1. Pupils shown word cards and they sound out the phonemes.
2. Pupils then called out randomly to identify the word related to the phoneme.
3. Pupils play phoneme game in groups.
Post lesson : Pupils given completing word search activity.
