1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. Project Overview

PT. Medco Energi Internasional through its subsidiary PT Medco E&P Malaka has
accomplished the construction of a gas production facility in Block A, Aceh. Gas from Block
A will be utilized for the operation of PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda in Aceh Utara and the
electricity generation (PLN) needs. In order to support the continuity of Gas Plant Operation
in Block A, several supporting infrastructure projects are commenced. One of them is
“Pekerjaan Pembuatan Offsite Building Tahap 1 untuk proyek Blok A Aceh”.
This project includes the construction of office buildings, mess staff, laundry, canteen, and
information center building along with the associated building support facilities. The
completion of this Project is expected to increase the efficiency in terms of personnel
mobilization and accommodation of Gas Plant, since the Gas Plant is located at remote area.

1.2. DEFINISI

The definitions contained in this document are as follows:

PROJECT : Pekerjaan Pembuatan Offsite Building Tahap 1 Untuk Project

Blok A Aceh
COMPANY : PT MEDCO E&P MALAKA as an owner of the PROJECT
CONTRACTOR : PT. PIRIMBILO PERMAI which is responsible to execute the
PROJECT as specified in contract.
SUB CONTRACTOR : The party(s) that carry out all or part of the design,
procurement, installation and testing of the system as specified
by CONTRACTOR.
VENDOR/SUPPLIER : A company providing specific materials or services required for
the construction of the facility.
MIGAS : Representative from Indonesian Gonverment which is
responsible for issuing licenses and permits for Oil & Gas
facilities.
