Globalization is a process of world shrinkage, as defined by Thomas Larsson.

It’s

an act of moving things close together. According to Martin Khor, globalization is

equivalent to colonization, as it dominates a certain nation based on trends. Technically

speaking, it has seven types including Economic, Technological, Political, Cultural,

Ecological and Sociological. This are directly linked and affects each other in different

modes and basis.

As we all know, things both have negative and positive impacts on the society.

When it comes to globalization, all the pros of it is undeniable. Without a doubt, we can

see the progress of the world by tracing the seven aspects of globalization. From the

strengthening of foreign exchange, technological advancements, cultural adaptations and

influences up to rising of sociological awareness, globalization is involved. But, as

advancements continue to grow massively, its bad side effects are starting to show off.

As globalization continues, nature is directly affected. Natural resources were widely

used and consumed, but not replaced. Different environmental problems are starting to

arise as globalization continues. As such, natural conservation techniques must be

observed in order to address such issue involving globalization. Environmental education

is a very important tool in this scenario. It will be possible to change people’s

environmental perspective in a positive way with environmental education. People with

high levels of environmental awareness can shed light on the solution of environmental

problems. In this paper, effects of globalization on nature conservation will be tackled in

order to raise awareness among individuals.
