Cast Your Vote

Poem or Rap #1
Words
By
Denise La Salle

My brothers and sisters, I wanna give some hope

Before you go to the polls and cast your vote
It’s either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump
Donald’s bout as smart as Forrest Gump

He won’t listen to what others have to say

It’s got to be Donald, just got to get his way
Up his sleeves, he’s got a bag of tricks
If it’s not his way, he’s gonna call it fixed

He keeps bragging and bragging about himself

And going around bad mouthing somebody else
If you vote for Donald Trump and put him in
You may have committed your greatest sin

Vote for Trump, put him in control

He’ll steal your money, even take your soul
He says he’s smart and wanna be your friend
Says he’s gonna make America great again

Go on vote for Donald Trump, be his friend

Disagree with Donald, he’ll get revenge
If a foreign country won’t do it his way
He’ll blow them up, Donald doesn’t play

If President Putin ever cross the line

Trump’ll say, your money and your land is mine
Putin may think he can bluff him but all of a sudden
Donald’s got his finger on the nuclear button

America has always been run by a man

C’mon yall let’s put it in a woman’s hands
Vote for Hillary, show her you’re her friend
She can’t do worse than some of you men
Donald says that she’s crooked, says that she lied
I guess that makes her less qualified
Your lies and secrets are all you own
Let those without secret cast the first stone

She’s not perfect, she may have lied

At least she’ll have Bill right by her side
Bill was alright, Trump says he was crooked
But all Bill did was get a little bit of nookie

People take your time, think about your tomorrow

Don’t cast a vote that’s gonna bring you sorrow
Come on, vote for Hillary, be her friend
Put the Clinton’s in the White House, once again
