Philippians 4:1,4-9

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm
in the Lord in this way, dear friends! 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but
in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble,
whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is
excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received
or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

STAND FIRM (not in the challenges of your everyday life)
We have these CHALLENGES that we face everyday…
Just standing sometimes is a sign of strength.
Even we cannot control the atmosphere around us, we can control the atmosphere of our
hearts.
Not just the peace of God but the God of peace that gives us that.
Make it your habit of thought.
Concentrated mind.
Anxious heart can rob our peace, an unconscious mind can distract our faith.
FEAR AND FAITH – they both have something in common FOCUS.
Focus on such things.
Eyes on Jesus.
Magnification --- sometimes it is the reason why we sing our songs over and over.
Phil 4:8
What's holding you back? (In claiming the promises of God in your life? In pursuing the goals
that you have? In journeying this life? To do the things that you know God wants you to do?)
It's not the things that holding you back.
You know why? Some people also encounter those kinds of mountains, waves but they do it
with confidence.
Sometimes we do it with fear that’s why we think we are being held back.
Do it with courage. It's how you think that holds you back.
WHATEVER IS TRUE
There's something truer than the things we see.
Yes, Jesus was bruised, crucified but guess what He said that He's the resurrection and the life.
You cannot always choose the things that get in your mind.
SCREEN OF THOUGHTS ILLUSTRATION.
Hold that thought vs. Thought that holds you.
For example:
The fear of failure because you’ve experienced it before. >> Failure can also be converted to
success.
God said that you have authority over these thoughts.
It may be bigger than you.
You represent Something/Someone that’s greater those
He will never leave.
Testimony
Peace of God and the God of Peace
Hold some new thoughts.
Sometimes we already became so concerned about the things that can blind us and neglect the
things the beautiful things that are already in front of us. God is enough, Christ is enough.
