Welcome to Course one of The Power of Mindset Over Matter Series: The Leaven of Lifted
Living. This is the first- a foundational, stagnation-breaking, transformation inciting
program. I am grateful that you have invested in this program. The facilitation of
transformation is at the heart of the calling on my life and it is my joy to create tools and
space for people to be empowered, expand their awareness, enhance the quality of their
lives and create undeniable positive impact in the world.
This work, the work of self-reflection, deep listening and full expression through presence
and purpose is essential to our evolution as individuals and as a human collective. Let us

It was awesome to work with The Metabolic Method™ to enhance their Weight
Management program with a live facilitation of this Mindset Mastery Course. The

Inner Tasks
Noticing:
Be aware. Look for the hidden message in perceivably negative or
difficult situations. Learn from them. Observe and be aware of your moods,
reactions and responses to what is happening around you. Be aware of your
perceived strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes.
Become aware of how your moods and emotions affect your state of mind.
Observe how your environment affects you.
When do you feel it’s inappropriate to respond authentically?
When do you bite your tongue in the moment then upon leaving the conversation,
stew about it or post about it or journal or gossip?
Notice when you get emotional.
Write down the dominant thoughts and feelings when they arise. You can
recognize these moments. Were you: Stressed? Threatened? Jealous? Afraid?
Sad? Etc...
Do you see yourself being passive aggressive via your remarks or deeds?
When emotions arise, where in your body do you feel them and what is /are the
sensations; warmth, tightness, burning, tingling? Etc.

Rather than telling your dislike to someone with Zero power to do anything
about it- For example: complaining about your spouse to your hair dresser....
or to the person in the neighboring cubicle at work or vice versa- complaining
about work to your mate-both are unproductive and low energy. There is a
difference between venting and having an energized solution-seeking session
and simply unloading your anger because you are afraid to confront the real
issue or person connected to your inner conflict.

Mirror Work: Look yourself in the eye- do not avert your eyes.

We have taken a journey into our hearts, our minds, and peeked in on the
stories that served us and the ones that may have served us at one time but no
longer do-and the truths that live there.
During Week 2, "The Transfer of Power; Success Requires Good P.R.", we talked
about Personal Responsibility; "Reflecting, Replacing and Reinforcing". This is
a sound process for improving your habits.
Week 3, “Love, Where Has it Gone?", took us into the world of Forgiveness. It a
portal to our Freedom.
During Week 5, "Renew your Mind, Renew Your Life", you learned tools for in-
the-moment-transformation.
Work in Week 6, "Caring Looks Good on You" led us to agree on the profound
importance of creating a sustainable Love Practice.
Take time now to fill out a NEW-blank "7 Question Worksheet". Resist the
temptation to peek at the one you filled out previously. Write how you
believe you have changed and where you still feel stuck or want to grow or
become more consistent.
Notice where you now see sunshine where you hadn’t before.

Now, take a moment to pull out the "7 questions" sheet you completed in
week 1.
The Objectives for this Program were clearly laid out. The intention was for
you to:
This course helped you answer- “Who have I been that got me what I have?”
and helped you elevate your awareness and begin a powerful shift. It gave you a
foundation for a solid platform from which to launch your life with a higher,
truer trajectory.
This Week, Week 8: Begs the question : Who and What must I “Become”?
(Allow myself to come more into being) to have what I really want? This is
the essence of human evolution: Becoming more of who we are is the journey.
Last week we talked about the best and most practical ways to UP-LEVEL
YOUR GAME OF LIFE. The first 2 of those tools are Gratitude and Dreaming.
By now, you realize that there is more to be uncovered, that you have just
scratched the surface. The reason many people yo-yo-diet and bounce from
program to diet program is that 6, 8 or 12 weeks of eating well-following a plan
often works but the results are temporary. They leave you hanging- needing
and wanting more support. It's when you have support for 6-months to a year
that you will see permanency. Support beyond the honeymoon phase of change
is required to ensure the implementation and to be there for the regression as
well as the wins that pull you forward. There are itches you just cannot scratch
yourself.
3) Preparation (Ready)
Preparation is the stage in which people intend to take action immediately,
usually within a month. Typically, they have already taken some significant
action in the past year. These individuals have a plan of action; such as
joining a gym, talking to their doctor, or enrolling in a self-development
program.
4) Action
Action is the stage in which people have made specific overt modifications
in their lifestyles within the past six months. Action is observable but
Action is only one of five stages. And alone is not enough. Strategic action
with measurable, desired results is necessary. Are you going to the gym 12
times per month? Prepping your meals 6 out of 7 days? Is there consistency
with the change?
The key to keeping your balance is knowing when you are heading
toward losing it. knowing what it looks and feels like to be in balance
for you- living it long enough to allow you to become subconsciously
competent - about living the lifestyle you choose with the ability to
adapt.
The PROCESS of RE-newing your mind is NOT LINEAR-We have already begun.
Live the 7 Principles of Living Lifted:
You may still have regrets surfacing and find yourself wishing things could have
been different. You may still be imagining what your life would be like if "some-
thing" hadn’t happened.
Consider shifting this cycle of thinking from what could have been to what CAN
be...to What IS POSSIBLE. This is a more productive and healthy use of your
energy. Do the work to set the boundaries we talked about and this too is an
evolving process. As you trust yourself more and grow more confident in living
well, this process will become easier.
You will gain more clarity about your non-negotiables, boundaries/things you will
and will not allow into your life.
Most people negotiate more than they realize. Then they wake up one day and
wonder why they're so unhappy. You now know you have a choice. Growth is
about a reunion with your true self, about RE-membering -who you are. You are
RE-awakening to your truth and light. Life challenges can incite responses that we
in order to cope- park our hope, our happiness, our worth, our love and our self-
care.
These kinds of experiences can lead you to disconnect from your true self and
these moments you now know are also an opportunity for invaluable intel and
potential moments of catapult into purpose- into alignment, into true freedom-
into Living- --in the greatest sense of the word. True Life wants you!
The action step here to move into a practice of up-leveling-is to allow this new
relationship and mindset to be fully realized and entrained.
Grasping the nuances and application of the 7 Principles of Living Lifted prepares
our soil for opportunity to meet our willingness for gifts planted long ago to
mature and ignite. As we start practicing them consistently and purging, our
foundation solidifies and we can bear more and sweeter fruit and handle heavier
loads without faltering.
Once you have built a satiating, reciprocating relationship between you and
the rest... you can work on your fitness, nutrition, spirituality, and all that
calls you higher and expands your positive impact in the world and begs
your full expression.
So, where can you continue to be educated and guided as you release the rest
to become your best?
Where can you receive support as you dig deeper and really grab hold of an
area of your life that is lacking and transcend your herstory?
Where can you continually be inspired to raise the bar-to the height of your
creation-to elevate and do what you are here to do, to be and have and share
as you are meant? Where can you be supported in consistently living on
higher ground? Where can you be influenced to have better perspective,
better thinking and achieve better results? Where can you be empowered to
illuminate the world with your soul shine?
