Fuses
The truck's fuses are situated under the cover in the middle of the instrument panel. Fuses for the
superstructure are situated under the panel, in front of the passenger section.
The fuses are accessible when the two screws which hold the cover above the instrument panel are loosened
and the cover is lifted off.
Under the cover are labels which show the location and function of the fuses.
Note: The ordinary exterior lighting of the truck is controlled by a lighting control unit. This contains control functions for each
lighting circuit. Fuses are no longer used for these functions. If a circuit is broken, for example, because of overloading or a short
circuit, the driver will be informed by a message in the instrument. The function is restored when the fault has been fixed.

Under the cover of each electrical distributor unit is a label with information on the location of the fuses and the relays and their
function.
The fuses in the electrical distributor unit are of the blade fuse type, two different types are used. If a fuse
must be changed often in the same fuse holder, the electrical system should be checked.
Note: Switch off the current before changing a fuse. The fuse holder can burn up if the current is on.
Warning
Always use the stipulated size of fuse. Never use a higher fuse. A higher fuse can involve danger of
fire.

The electrical distributor unit includes a tool for removing fuses and a light diode for testing fuses.
Main fuses
The main fuses are situated inside the battery box. The four fuses are screwed into the fuse box with spring
washers and nuts. It is important that the nuts are tightened to the correct torque, see table. Too little torque
can cause generation of heat. Too much torque can cause deformation of the fuse connections and can lead to
the plastic in the screw connections cracking.
Warning
Use the correct tightening torque. Do not forget the spring washers.

Normally the fuses last as long as the truck without blowing. If a fuse should blow, the electrical system
should be checked.
