Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol
Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich I&SW of Mariupol) is one of Ukraine’s largest
integrated steel production plants. Ilyich I&SW of Mariupol produces flat rolled steel and pipes
made of carbon, low-alloy and alloy steel, including hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized coils
and plates/sheets used for welded pipes, structural steel, and sections for railcar manufacturing.

The plant holds 50 product quality certificates from seven internationally recognized certification
agencies that cover its range of steel products manufactured from more than 200 steel grades.
The plant has also obtained certificates from Ukrainian certification institutions. Ilyich I&SW of
Mariupol has a quality management system in place that was designed and certified according to
the requirements of ISO 9001.

hot rolled coils and hot rolled sheets, cold rolled sheets and cold rolled coils with thicknesses of
0.5-8.0 mm that are produced from carbon and low-alloy steel as well as cut steel strips and tin
plates.
Its customers are mainly producers of welded pipes, automobile manufacturers, agricultural and
transport engineering companies, household appliance manufacturers, and steel service centers.
Metinvest, together with a team of investors, became the owner of 50.0032% of Zaporizhstal in
July 2012.

Ferriera Valsider spa
Ferriera Valsider SpA is Metinvest’s steel mill in Verona (Italy). Ferriera Valsider SpA produces
structural steel (plates and hot rolled coils) at two production lines. 80-90% of its steel slabs used
as feedstock are supplied by Azovstal. Ferriera Valsider’s products are used in a wide range of
steel-consuming industries, such as construction, shipbuilding, boiler and pressure vessel manu-
facturing, and pipe and guardrail production. The plant’s hot rolled coil production capacity is
600,000 tons p.a.
