Adjust height
The arm F of the cantilever may not touch the plug X in the chas-
sis. The plastic ring D must be at the stop Y.
To adjust, move the overload protection.
X 1. Unscrew screw A.
2. Push the cantilever together using two fingers. (Observe
height ca. 1.5 mm over plug X).
2212_A 3. The plastic ring D on the spring assembly must be at the
stop Y.
4. Fasten screw A.
Check
Insert adjustment weights and mount weight cover (see
Section 3.3.3). The play between arm F and plug X must be
maintained.

Set position
The arm of the cantilever arm must lie centrally in the chassis rel-
ative to the nose (see Section 3.2.3).
Adjustment is by changing the pressure of the springs C.
1. Place weight (e.g. adjustment weight of the balance) on the
cantilever arm.
2. Loosen both screws D.
The springs C no longer lie against the traverse E.
3. Screw in one of the two screws D until the spring C very
lightly touches the traverse.

4. Remove weight from arm.

D When the cantilever arm is moved to the side and released, it
D
must automatically spring back to the centered position.
5. Screw in the other screw D until the opening at the tip of the
Y cantilever arm lies symmetrically relative to the nose in the
chassis (Detail Y).
Check
= = When the cantilever arm is moved to the side and released, it
must automatically spring back to the centered position.
Note
The springs C may only make contact with the traverse. If the
pressure is too high, the function of the overload protection is no

4.3.1 Eliminate air gaps between front glass and side panels
2298
If new side panels are installed, it is possible that the air gap can-
not be completely eliminated with the procedure described under
Section 4.3.1.
In this case, the horizontal position of the left or right slide rail A
can be adjusted.
