(RPP)

Subject: Biology

Class / Semester: XI (Eleven) 1

Allocation of Time: 8 hours of lessons

Competency Standards:

3. Describe the structure and function of human organs and certain animals, disorders /
diseases that may occur and the implications on Salingtemas

Basic Competency:

3 .2. Explain the relationship between structure, function and processes and abnormalities
that can occur in the circulatory system

I. Indicator

 Describe the relationship between the various blood components and function

 Make the process of blood coagulation scheme

 Testing for blood group

 Describe the relations of heart parts and functions

 Describe the relationship of blood vessel structure and function

 Describing the path of blood circulation in humans

 Describe the lymph system

 Describe the relationship circulatory system and lymphatic system

 Describe disorders / diseases that occur in the human circulatory system

 Describe the circulatory system in invertebrates

 Comparing the circulatory system in vertebrate animals

II. Instructional Materials

 The component of the human circulatory system:

1. Blood

2. Heart

3. Blood vessel

 Mechanism of the human circulatory system is

 The classification of blood

 Various disorders or diseases that occur in the human circulatory system

III. Learning Methods

 Observations - Assignment-Discussion

IV. Learning Steps

Meeting 1 (2 hour lessons)

A. Initial activity (5 minutes)

 Teacher asks the students understanding and functions of the human circulatory system.

 Students answered with the first show of hands.

B. Main activities (80 minutes)

 Teacher explains the components of the human circulatory system compiler.

 Students are assigned to observe under a microscope erythrocytes

 Students observe and draw observations erythrocytes.

 Students are assigned to test the blood type based on the arrangement of work that teachers are
prepared telkah
 Students prepared a report Activities 5.1 and 5.2.

 Students with teachers to discuss the components of human blood compiler.

 Students with teachers to discuss the principles of classification of blood with ABO system.

 Students with teachers to discuss the possibility of blood transfusions in humans.

C. End Activity (15 minutes)

 Students collect reports Activities 5.1 and 5.2.

2nd meetings (2 hour lessons)

A. Initial activity (10 minutes)

 Teacher asks how the blood can circulate

 Students explain the role of the heart and blood vessels in the circulatory system

B. main activities (70 minutes)

 Teacher gives a picture of heart, and then students were asked to mention the heart of a
designated and functions.

 Teacher asks a variety of blood vessels and functions.

 Teacher provides images of blood vessels and the students were asked to describe the three
kinds of structural differences in blood vessels.

 By paying attention to parts of the heart and blood vessel function, students are assigned to
make the blood circulation scheme which includes a small circulation.

C. End activities (10 minutes)

 Students with teachers to discuss the conclusions about the structure of the heart.

 Students with teachers to discuss the conclusions about the structure and function of blood
vessels.
 Pupils with teachers to discuss the trajectory of human blood circulation.

Third meeting (two hours of lessons)

A. Initial activity (15 minutes)

 Teacher asks the students understanding and lymph system function.

 Students describe the meaning and function of the lymph system.

B. main activities (35 minutes)

 Teacher gives a picture of lymph organs contained in the body and the students were asked to
determine the name of the organ.

 Teacher gives a picture of lymph circulatory system, and then students were asked to mention
the features of lymph vessels and circulatory system.

 Students with the teachers describe the difference of the circulatory system and lymph system.

 Students with teachers to discuss the disorder or disease in the human circulatory system.

 Teacher assigns students to gather information about the causes, disorders, treatment and
prevention of diseases / disorders in the human circulatory system from a variety of media and
arranges them into a scrapbook.

C. Activities end (5 minutes)

 Students with teachers concluded the structure and function of the lymph system.

 The teacher asks the students to bring vertebrate animals for dissection and observed the blood
circulatory system.

4th Meeting (2 hour lessons)

A. Initial activity (10 minutes)

 The teacher asks the students to prepare surgical instruments.

 Students preparing for surgery.

B. main activities (70 minutes)

 Students brought anesthetized animals, then put it on a surgical board.

 Students dissect animals carefully until the chest cavity that can be found in the heart.

 Students observe jatung include pulse shape and then draw observations.

 Students cut the blood vessels around the heart so the heart can be released

 Students observe the heart have been released.

 Students conclude the circulatory system in animals observed.

 Students clean the desk of former activities.

 Students gather information from a text book about various vertebrate circulatory
system, and then arranged in tabular form the differences circulatory system of vertebrate
animals.

 Students gather information on invertebrates of the circulatory system and describe

several examples of circulation system in animals invertbrata.

C. End activities (10 minutes)

 Students with a teacher talks to conclude the difference principle circulatory system of
vertebrate animals.

 Students with teachers concluded the circulatory systems of invertebrates.
