The right work environment is one of the most important aspects that should be studied by companies.

Business actions should be aimed at improving working conditions and the performance of workers. One of
the environmental risks that is observed as the most predominant in the industrial sector is noise.

The purpose of this report was to perform quantitative assessments to determine the equivalent NPS generated
by the XAR Company in its mechanical engineering services operation, the measurements were acquired
through an integrating sound level meter, during the months of October and November 2018.

For the planning of the monitoring visits were made in the Organization and representative sections were
evaluated, taking the determination in evaluating the mechanical zone, readings of the level of equivalent
sound pressure were taken in such a way, that they were taken from Monday to Saturday, between 8 : 30 and
18:30. In total 12 data were obtained for each day of the week, which means 72 readings.

The mechanical zone that has the greatest noise pollution of the Company gives as effect an average weekly
equivalent sound pressure level of 90.5 dB (A), from which it is interfered that the noise generates a change
between Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with a value that exceeds the maximum limits allowed, although
the subsequent days present a noise level under normal conditions.

Our results put an alert note showing that the level of noise in the company XAR, are higher than the
maximum limits allowed in the supreme decree N ° 594, that is why it became necessary to generate control
measures in order to mitigate in environmental noise, in which there may be several repercussions on the
health of workers.
