Creating a Custom Dynamic Stamp

You may have noticed the ability to use a dynamic stamp in Adobe® Acrobat® 6.0

Create your own dynamic stamp in Acrobat.

A dynamic stamp consists of the image of the stamp (in the example REVISED) and a
text form field with JavaScript that creates the dynamic information (figure2).

Your dynamic stamp can be stored in one of two locations:

➤ [install directory]\plug_ins\Annotations\Stamps\[language]

➤ [user directory]\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\6.0\Stamps


Steps to creating your own stamp
Step 1. Choose Tools > Commenting > Stamp Tool > Create Custom Stamp.

Step 2. Select the file you want to be your custom stamp. This can be a PDF document, a graphic To determine the stamp you just created, sort by

Step 4. Save the PDF file. You now have a dynamic custom stamp.
