 What is life
Life:
The period between life and death of living things is called life.
Or
The conditions that distinguished animals, humans and plants from inorganic matter including the
capacity of growth and reproduction.
Living organisms have following characteristics.

1-Organization:
All living organisms are made up of one or more cells. They perform
coordinated activities.

2-Metabolism:
The sum of biochemical reaction in an organism. It can be anabolism or
catabolism.

3-Homeostasis:
It is defined as the maintenance of constant internal environment instead of
changes in external environment.

4-Growth:
Living organisms grow in size.

5-Reproduction:
Living organisms undergo reproduction which can be asexual or sexual.
