You currently work for a consultancy firm that provides advice and business intelligence services to
smallbusinesses and entrepreneurs. Small business and entrepreneurs are very critical in the success on
the modern economy. You have been tasked by your senior manager to investigating different types of
business ventures and their impact upon the economy. This should be presented in report from.

This is a mini research project that is based on a range of different examples, one of
which should be a local business.You should choose one example of each type of entrepreneurship, at
least one of which shouldbe a local business. You must describe and compare different environments
for each of yourexamples and evaluate their impact on the economy at different levels.
Primary research could be conducted for your choice of local business. Primary research may
include the use of interviews, existing videos or questionnaires completed by practicing
entrepreneurs.

Your report MUST include the following points,

1). Describe the entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial activity and enterprise. Also include the differences
between serial entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and owner-managers.

2).Explore the concept of Entrepreneurship in a corporate or public sector context.

3). Investigating different types of business ventures.


(You should use a range of different examples, one of which should be a local business.)

4). Critically examine type of small firms and their contribution to the economy at national, regional
and local level.

(Factors can be considered: size, turnover, profit, rate of growth, innovation, sustainability and
adaptability.)

5).Analyze the Entrepreneurial characteristics and mindset, Skills set of the entrepreneur and Personal
entrepreneurial tendency by using specific examples.

6). Evaluate how background and experiences either hinder or foster entrepreneurship negatively or
