Goal:

• Your task is to create an interactive timeline with poster board including important dates
during World War I of their choice.
• Your goal is to _describe the dates of World War I of their choice, with an emphasis on major
battles fought in the war as well as to examine the social impact that the war had on the
soldiers.
• The problem or challenge is choosing a battle that includes enough historical information.
• The obstacles to overcome are sifting through fact and fiction of battles and finding enough
information to complete their timelines with pictures and information.

• You are a Researcher.
• You have been asked to find information about World War I.
• Your job is to find important dates during World War I and create a timeline using different
tools and add them to your pasteboard.

• Your clients are other students in class.

• You need to convince other students in the classroom that you have the correct dates with he

• The context you find your self in is finding factual information and corresponding pictures, you
want to find out the truth behind the date of the war.
• The challenge involves dealing with seeking the information that is factual and creating an
aspect for your timeline including creating propaganda.

• You will create a interactive timeline made with poster board in order to show specific dates of
the war as well as the impact they had on the soldiers.
• You need to develop an interactive timeline so that you learn more information about that
certain date and how it impacted history.

• Your performance needs to show correct corresponding dates with the war event, create

will help students to understand the importance of World War I dates. With giving students the option
to create their own version of what a timeline should look like and giving the students the freedom to
choose what dates in the World War I time period they would like to use.
