LESSON PROPER
So today I’ll be discussing about the
elements of a short story and after that will
have an activity.

Characters- is a person, or sometimes


even an animal, who takes part in the
action of a story.

Problem/conflict is a struggle between two


people or things in a story.

Solution/conclusion- is the last part of the


story, its end or result of the story.

Important events/Plot- events that form a


significant pattern of action with a
beginning, middle, and an end.

Theme- is its underlying message, or the


big idea in the story.

APPLICATION
So let’s have an activity a short story about
Babylon a place in Iraq and it is all about
Gods.

(The teacher will distribute the copy of the


story)
GENERALIZATION
Now, let me ask you, what was the lesson About the elements of a short story
you have learned today? ma’am.

EVALUATION
On your ½ crosswise write your own
ending of the story.
