YARD CLEAN-UP has been rescheduled for this coming Saturday, March 2, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
If the weather permits, please come to help and bring gloves, rakes, and other tools to help with
cleanup.
BAPTISMAL PREPARATION CLASS will be held on Monday, March 4, at 7:00 p.m. for parents and
God parents of infants to be baptized in the next three months. Let Fr. Adrian know as soon as possible
if you plan to attend.
PLAN AHEAD: Ash Wednesday will be on March 6. Mass with ashes will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m.
PAVING PATHS FOR PEACE AND ALL GOOD – an evening of lessons for the 21st Century from St.
Francis of Assisi is being presented by the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. It will
be held on Monday, March 4, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at St. Paschal, West Monroe. Presenters will be
Sr. Renita Brummer, Sr. Angelita Laws, and Sr. Gale Moore. All invited, no cost, no rsvp.
OUR 2019 ANNUAL DIOCESAN STEWARDSHIP APPEAL CAMPAIGN is now one week old at Little
Flower of Jesus Church. Thank you everyone that has offered a pledge to our Appeal and please
encourage others to join you in this important effort. Participation by our worshipping families is the
key to success for our 2019 Appeal effort and if you have yet to provide your Appeal gift this year,
please take time to full out a pledge card and return envelope located in the Church pews, or contact
an usher if you find one unavailable. Gifts can also be made through automatic withdrawal using the
instructions on your pledge card, or on-line at www.dioshpt,org.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CATHOLIC STUDENTS is available. Application packets for tuition
assistance from the Daughters of the Cross Educational Fund and the Bishop’s Tuition Assistance
Fund are now available for the 2019-2020 school year. Partial tuition assistance is available on a
needs-basis for Catholic students in the Diocese of Shreveport. Parents may contact any Catholic
school for information or may apply online at www.tuitionaid.com . Deadline for application is April 15,
2019. For more information, contact the Diocesan Schools Office at 318-219-7253.
A SUGGESTION BOX has been placed at the entrance of the church if anyone has a suggestion for
the Little Flower Church Parish Council to consider. Please include your name so we can ask for any
clarifications.
