III. Procedure:
a) Routinary Activities
1. Prayers
2. Greetings
3. Checking of Attendance
b) Motivation
The students will be divided into 2 groups. Each group will create an image or tableau
that represents an attributes of a good friend, dreams or goals or the way of achieving your
dreams, then each group will explain the chosen image in front of the class.

The teacher will start the discussion with a video presentation then the students will be
divided into 4 groups.
The teacher will give each student a handout of the story Of Mice and Men.
As a group, students will read the story and then the teacher will lead the discussion of
characters, conflicts, and morals that occur in the story.
e) Generalization
At the end of the discussion, the teacher will ask the question “Would you ever hurt
someone you love, even if it were the best thing for them?” then he/she will let the students
execute the new knowledge that conveys in the story.
IV. Evaluation
The students will identify the scenes whether it is Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling
Action, and Resolution. In order for them to know what scenes will be arrange, each group should
write at least 5 scenes of the story and then they will switch their works. They will be given 2
minutes to write and 3 minutes to review, arrange and finalize their answers.
V. Assignment
Give 5 life lessons from the story “Of Mice and Men” with a short description of the life
lessons given.
