Appearance: Proffesional, flush (because that’s model site
look, and it’s cool)l
Style: Cool, Skilled (because I want it to not be intense)
Colour: White and Light Green (because that goes well with
the style i’m going for)
Shape/Form: Sharp but soft, square( Because it looks very
professional)
Texture/Pattern: Low-Poly, Crystal-Like (Because I really
like that style and think it goes well with what i’m going for)
Finish: Smooth, Defined, Vector (Because it goes well with
what i’m going for and looks good)
Layout: Square ( because it is what the layout for the feel
my site is going for)
No Cost (Weebly has been provided)
It is for Ms.Baruch( For the purpose of introducing us to her)
It must Introduce ourselves to anyone who comes across
the site( Ms.Baruch)
It’s purpose is to let the student tell Ms.Baruch what their
strengths, hobbies, weaknesses, etc. are.
It will be stored on Weebly in the internet.
It can be used easily or difficulty (not sure if there will be a
password.)
The resources available are the internet. (Meaning photo
editors, info, pictures, etc.)
The limitations in place are the Weebly limitations and my
own knowledge.(How advanced is my usage of technical
skills?)
The time needed to create this design is probably a few
hours.(I don’t think I will need photo editing)
The available materials are a chromebook, a journal, rulers,
pencils,pens, markers, and other coloring tools.
 The properties the materials need to have are the property
of being able to be written on (Journal), the property of
being able to write (Pencils,Pens,Markers,Etc.), the
property of being able to access the websites on the
internet (Chromebook), and the property of being a straight
line (Ruler).

The sizes that need to be considered are a giant amount of
words, work, and data (Avoid), To small and not offering
any Information(Avoid), To be able to function and look as
intended to on phone (Needed), and the perfect Goldilocks
middle amount, not too big not too small (Needed)
The anthropometric factors that need to be considered are
legible fonts, especially for the information.

Criterion D: Evaluating

i. outline simple, relevant testing methods, which generate data, to measure the success of the
solution

Get people you know to take a survey that grades your website.
This solution will generate data that tells me how successful my website was, how well I did and what
I can do in the future.

ii. outline the success of the solution against the design specification (success criteria)

The solution was successful, I got answers where there were outlined ways on what I can do to
improve my website.
(Expand on my interests, tell more about personality) The test did show the impact on the target
audience, they knew more about me after the website, but needed a bit more. The solution was
overall successful based on the survey.

iii. outline how the solution could be improved

The solution could be improved if I got a professional website reviewer to outline my successes and
failures in my website so that I could get a good idea of what goes well in my website and what goes
wrong in my website

iv. outline the impact of the solution on the client/target audience.

The solution impacted the target audience by telling them more about my interests. But, it only let them know
my interest, and they wanted to know my personality, and more about my interests. So this means that I did
not give enough information.
What are some possible testing methods?

Method Description

Expert Appraisal A person considered an expert in the use of similar products is presented with
the solution, given time to interact with the solution and then interviewed on
aspects of its success. The expert has particular knowledge and skills that allow
him or her to make judgments on the success of the solution. The expert may be
the client.

Field Trial A field trial is a test of the performance of a solution under the conditions and
situation in which it will be used. For example, an interactive information point
(developed in HTML) for a museum exhibit may be tested by the exhibit visitors
in the museum, structured as a user trial or user observation.

User Observation The user is presented with the solution and is set a task to achieve with
little or no guidance. The user’s interaction with the solution is observed
and recorded.

User Trial The user is presented with the solution and guided on how to use it. The user is
asked questions as he or she interacts with the solution or is given a survey to
complete. User trials may include focus groups.
The design of interview or survey questions needs to be targeted to draw out
responses that assess the solution against the specification.
