Course Overview:
Life Sciences encompasses a variety of topics from ecosystem patterns and cycles to basic biological
relationships of organisms. We will be exploring information such as organization of cells and
relationships between organisms within an ecosystem. We will be enhancing our critical thinking skills
while engaging in science!

Classroom Expectations:
1. Be respectful
2. Be open-minded
3. Be courteous
4. Adhere to all school-wide rules
5. Not eat or drink in class (Exception: Water in an enclosed bottle)

Grading Information:
 Midterm: 20%
 Final: 20%
 Homework: 10%
 Quizzes (x10): 20%
 Laboratory Participation: 10%
 Projects (x2): 20%
