 Proceedings:

1. Meeting started with the recitation of Holy Quran at 11:00 a.m. Prof. Dr. Aamir Ijaz
(Director, QEC) gave a comprehensive presentation and briefed the participants
about the importance of Self Assessment procedure as well as the Teachers &
Courses Evaluation in the educational institutions. They were also told that the
requirements of resources i.e. infrastructure, facilities (computer labs/teachers) etc.
can be identified in their SAR. Director, QEC discussed the following contents:-

 Procedure of Self Assessment Process

 Survey forms of the Teachers & Courses Evaluation
 Latest Status about self-assessment procedure of Faculty of Law

2. Director QEC told the participants that this meeting is being conducted as per
directions of Vice Chancellor University of the Punjab, Lahore.
3. Director QEC further advised the participants that :-

a) Punjab University Law College should complete its self-assessment reports as soon
as possible.

b) Self-assessment reports are also helpful for their accreditation process with
respective bodies(Pakistan Bar Council).

c) It was discussed to conduct online teacher and course evaluation of all the
departments under this faculty and it should be done by Quality Enhancement Cell.
d) Summary of teacher evaluations is to be shared with HOD. Results may be
conveyed to the concerned teacher by the HOD.
e) Faculty role in improving Quality education and self-assessment procedure were also
discussed and agreed that without full commitment by all faculty members it is
impossible to achieve the desired quality assurance.

4. Director QEC told the participants that any suggestions to improve the evaluation
system are welcomed.
5. Principal, Punjab University Law College said that we should play our part for the
improvement of quality of education at University of the Punjab.
6. Principal, Punjab University Law College suggested that there should be counseling
session for students before conducting teacher and course evaluations.
7. Faculty raised the point that we should treat all students with respect and dignity and
Instructor should follow all of the ethics and norms.
Meeting ended with the vote of thanks and appreciation by Director, QEC.

Decisions of the Meeting:

1. Punjab University Law College should send updated list of their program team
members through their Principal to QEC.
2. Punjab University Law College should generate its self-assessment report as soon as
possible.
3. Progress of College about the submission of self-assessment reports will be checked
through regular follow up by QEC.
