E. Lesson proper

This morning class, we are going to

discuss about Repeating Patterns.
Would you mine to read the definition of
Repeating Patterns, Row 1?
Repeating Patterns it is a type of pattern in
which elements/objects repeat in a simple

Thank you!
When we say Repeating Patterns it is a
type of pattern in which elements repeat in a
simple manner or it is a sequences of objects
that repeat constantly and regularly. We can
determine the missing term by looking at the
regularity of the objects repeated.

For example:
I have here another set of pictures.

What do you think the pictures should be

put on the first line?

F. Reinforcing Activity

Let’s have an activity. We will do it by

group again. Following the same group. I
will give each group a pattern and an
envelope. Inside in each envelope contains But this timeI’ll be giving you a group
cut-outs. Use the cut-outs to complete the flag wherein I will put points in this flag if

( The learners do the activity)

Okay, let me check your work.

(The teacher check their work)

All of you got the correct pattern.

G. Application

At this moment class, We are going to have

another activity. I’m going to show you a
pattern or a set of figures. All you have to do,
you are going to identify the missing figures.
Look on the jumbled cut -outs to find the
missing objects. After that, you are going to
paste the right cut outs of object on the line to
complete the pattern.

Is it clear class? Yes, Ma’m!

(Jumbled cut-outs)

1. 1.

2. 2.

3. 3.

4. 4.
5.

6. 5.

7. (The Pupils do the activity)

Did you understand our lesson class? Yes, Ma’m!

If that so may I ask you some questions.

H. Generalization

What is Repeating Patterns, again?

Ma’m!
Yes, Zenia?
Repeating Patterns it is a type of pattern in
which elements/objects repeat in a simple
manner.
Very good!
Everybody! What is Repeating Patterns?

which elements/objects repeat in a simple
manner.
Excellent!
Do you really understand our topic for
today?
Yes, Ma’m!
Is there any question regarding our topic
for today?
None, Ma’m!

IV. Evaluation:

Let us see if you understand our topic for

today.
I have here worksheet. You are going to
identify the missing figures in a given items.
Encircle the missing pictures from the right
side to complete the pattern.

Mathematics 2
Worksheet

Name: Date:

Direction: Look at the given pattern. Circle the

missing pictures from the right side to complete
the pattern

(The teacher distribute the worksheet)

Are you done class?

Okay, past your papers forward.

(The Pupils answer the worksheet)

Yes, Ma’m!

(The Pupils past their papers)

V. Assignment:

For your assignment, answer the following

activities in your Book Easy Mathematics for
children 2, page 291-293.

That’s all for today.
