A well laid out network of automatic fire hydrant system having 9.8 kg/cm² pressure with following facilities is provided in plant areas:

1) Fire Hydrant System

a) Diesel engine driven pump = 5 Nos.
Capacity = 812 M3 /hr, head 88 M.
b) Electrically driven Jockey pump = 2 Nos.
Capacity = 120 M3 /hr, head 98 M.

4) Fire Detection System = 290 Nos.

a) Multi sensor detector = 260 nos.
b) Heat Detector = 10 nos.

5) Manual call points = 87 Nos.
