BOARD MEMBERS

I do pledge myself this day to hold one of

the important roles as part of the body of Christ, a part of the body of this Church.
 I pledge to commit myself in accordance with God’s Word to this church body, and to
receive the pastor as a gift from God given to help me in developing spiritually.
 I pledge to joyfully and thoughtfully enter into a bond of mutual edification,
fellowship, and accountability with one another.
 I also pledge to this church body and to my pastor to avoid strife and division at all
costs, helping to maintain unity within the body.
 I pledge to faithfully participate with this church in worship, prayer, study, fellowship,
and the ordinances set by the body through our involvement, and even sacrifice,
whenever possible as much as we are doing these for the Lord and not to men.
 In addition to the regular meetings of the church and in the spirit of a true disciple of
Christ, we will seek to be just and honest in our dealings and faithful in our
responsibilities and commitments. We will abide by the standards of the church.
 I pledge to submit to the church's discipline and lovingly assume our responsibility to
participate in the discipline of one another, as taught in Scripture. If we are offended
in connection with a disciplinary matter, we will seek resolution within the church.
 We promise to remain faithful to this church in membership and as part of the board.
In summary, I will love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength; and
we will love others as Christ first loved us.
