a) ¾ INCH PEX PIPE: – Using ¾ inch PEX pipe Cut 3 ¼ inch length piece
first. This cut can be between 3 ¼ inch to 3 ⅜ inch. Make sure cut stands close
to level on both sides by setting it on table. This first Cut is known as (“Cut
A”).

b) ½ INCH PEX PIPE: - Line up CUT A next to ½ Inch PEX Pipe. Mark a
line on the ½ Inch Pex Pipe slightly below CUT A. (1/8 th inch below CUT A).
Cut ½ inch PEX Pipe at that length. Stand on table to make sure cut is level
on both sides (This Cut is known as “CUT B”) CUT B should fight inside CUT
A with CUT A being slightly longer than CUT B. Set these two cuts aside.

c) ½ INCH PEX PIPE: Cut one piece of ½ inch PEX pipe to length of 4 inches.
[does not have to be exact]. (This cut is known as CUT C.) [Make sure cut is
close to level on at least one side]
d) ½ INCH PEX PIPE: CUT one piece of ½ inch PEX pipe to length of 2 ¾
inches [does not have to be exact length just close] This Cut is known as CUT
D. One side of CUT D should be close to level.
e) ¾ INCH PEX PIPE: Cut One Piece of ¾ inch PEX Pipe to length of 3 inches
[Does not have to be exact length just close] (This Cut is known as CUT E) At
least one side of Cut E should be close to level.-
Set Cuts C, D & E aside together.
II. Build HEAD ASSEMBLY

CUT B

A. Assemble on to ½ x 5 inch bolt in the following order

1. Washer

2. Wheel – thread wheel on bolt until it tightens against hex head and
washer

3. Washer

4. Cut B. [screw on Cut B using Ratchet Wrench with ¾ inch socket on

Hex head]
 a. Start with Ratchet in hand and then hand screw hand screw cut B
onto the bolt until you can’t do it with hand. Then use Ratchet until
you can no longer hold with hand.

b. Take Rubber grip pliers and hold onto Cut B where Cut B is already
threaded onto Bolt.

c. Hold Cut B with rubber grip pliers and use ratchet to continue
threading Cut B. [note outside of CUT B will be scratched in the
process]

b. Thread CUT B until it tightens washer to wheel.

At this stage your build should look like this:

5. Insert Cut A over Cut B.

6. Attach Hex Nut to Bolt and turn until there is a slight gap between
CUT A and Hex Nut (“Inside Hex Nut”) [1/8 inch gap] See Picture
Below. Note Cut A must be slightly longer than Cut B.

7. Add Wooster lockjaw tool holder the WLT by inserting the completed
portion through the tool holder portion of the WLT. Turn Vice Screw
Knob on WLT until firm.

a. the female piece of the WLT which attaches to the pole should be
closest to you.
 b. the wheel should be on your right [See Picture]

8. Insert Hex Bolt through short end of Angle Piece (“Base Plate”) add
washer and Hex Nut (“Outside Hex Nut”)

9. Turn Outside Hex Nut until the entire Outside Hex Nut is covered by
bolt.

10. Hold Outside Hex Nut and hand tighten inside Hex Nut until tight.

11 Take ratchet and hold outside Hex Nut. Take rubber grip pliers and
hold Inside Hex Nut. Use Ratchet to firmly tighten base plate between
Inside Hex Nut and Outside Hex Nut. Bolt should not extend beyond
outside Hex Nut.

12. There should be a slight gap between the Inside Hex Nut and Cut A.
(about a 1/8th to 1/4 inch gap.) See Photo

III. Build Lower Pulley Wheel Attachment. Note this involves gluing
with the Poly Bond. Make Sure Both Sections III and IV are ready
for Gluing before using Poly Bond.

Take Cut D and screw onto Hex Bolt all the

way to Hex Head – See above instructions
on how to use Ratchet and Rubber Grip
Pliers.

Take Cut - E and slide it over Cut D

Take wheel and wind it back and forth along the bolt
threads until the wheel becomes easy to wind up and
down through the threads.

This process may take some time and may require the use
of the Ratchet to hold the bolt in place at first. The process
should take about 5 minutes.

When you can turn the wheel easily by placing your finger
in the spoke with little resistance, you are good to go.

Then turn the wheel until the it presses up against Cut E

and Cut E is pressed up against the Hex head of the Bolt

turn the Wheel Back a few threads so that it is about ½ inch

from Cut E

This procedure accurately

centers Cut E to the Wheel.

Apply Plastic Bond to outer

rim of Cut E
[the end closest to the
Wheel]
 turn upside down while
holding Cut E and apply
Plastic Bond to inner circle of
Wheel. Make sure that Cut E
is significantly overlapping
Cut D.

Wind Wheel until it touches Cut E

continue to wind until Cut E is
pushed firmly up against Hex Head.

Then gently fill cracks between Cut

E and Wheel with more Plastic
Bond. [do no shove bond into
cracks]

Gently turn the Wheel a few

threads towards the end of the Bolt
[this prevents bond from sticking to
bolt. After another thirty minutes,
slowly wind down the wheel and
Cut E from the Bolt and allow to dry
for at least 1 day.
[I used a Loctite Super Glue for Plastic] However,
I believe the JB Polybond works better.]

After Cut E is dry, take a box

cutter and remove green grip
from pole by cutting a straight
line through the grip in the
direction of the arrow.

Use box cutter to cut out shape

that will fit around CUT E and
the n use Polybond to glue grip
to Cut E.
IV. Wooster Lock Gluing of Thread Tube

One Wooster Lock Jaw

Use Cut C and place a small piece of duct tape at one end

Take WLT and attach it to an extra PVC Pipe

and balance on bucket so that female end
is straight up

Before inserting Cut C, fill female part of

the WLT reservoir with poly bond to area
shown with arrow. Stir with an old wooden
pencil or other disposable stirrer.

Place Cut C into center of hole, slowly,

[tape side down] until it reaches the
bottom. Wipe off excess poly bond that
oozes out of top with a damp disposable
towel. Adust until centered. Allow to dry
for a day.

Scrape off any excess bond that flakes onto

outside of WLT
After poly compound is dry, cut tube close to
the WLT opening. Note it does not have be level
and can even extend out by about ¼ inch.

Screw wheel assembly onto Bolt.

Then use hand to screw in bolt into WLT evenly.
Then use ratchet to continue.
Stop when it becomes difficult to turn with
ratchet. Do not force.

V. Cement Bucket and Pole Support.

I tried finding a cheap way to make a tripod without a lot of tools. I can make the
50 lb cement bucket with a pole for less than $11.00.
I either carry it by the handle, or on a wagon. Very rarely have I not been able to
find a flat spot near the field. I do not leave the pole unattended unless the pole is
at the 8ft position.

5-gallon Home Depot Bucket.

Follow instructions on video attached.

1. take PVC Pipe and put a piece of duct tape along the bottom of
pipe.

2. Center pole in bucket

3. Add 1.25 Gallons (1 gallon and 1quart of water)

4. one person holds pipe.

5. The other fills with concrete like guy does on You Tube. Add
more water if necessary.

Make sure pole is level [see concrete guy on You Tube] . Adjust
pole until level. Hold in place until it sets continue to check level.
Let sit overnight in dry place.
