DISTRICT-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL QUIZ BEE

1. Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 53 s. 2018 titled “2018 City Environmental Quiz
Bee” Calapan South Schools District shall conduct its District Based Environmental
Quiz Bee on September 4, 2018 at 8:00 – 12:00 PM at Bucayao Elementary School,
Bucayao, Calapan City.

2. The Environmental Quiz Bee aims to:

a. Determine potential pupils who will represent the District and compete to
the City Environmental Quiz Bee;

b. Strengthen education by promoting academic excellence in Science among

elementary pupils;

c. Develop the values of perseverance, honesty, and sportsmanship

3. Participants shall be the school Science Coordinators, support staff, coaches while the
contestants shall be the winners from their respective schools.

4. Medals to be awarded for winners will be taken care of by the district supervisor in –
charge in Science.

5. All participants and contestants are expected to be at the venue at exactly 7:00 o’clock
in the morning.

6. The list of the names of support staff, schedule of contests, mechanics of the contest
and official form for the names of contestants and coaches are attached for your
guidance.

7. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.

2018 at the New City Hall Conference Room at Guinobatan, Calapan City.

4 Program Description: Guided by the goals and objectives of Science programs and
competencies in producing academically competent, knowledgeable
and skilled pupils, Calapan South District design to conduct a
DISTRICT-BASED CITY ENVIRONMENTAL QUIZ BEE on
September 4, 2018. The Environmental Quiz Bee aims to
determine potential pupils who will represent the District and
compete to the City Environmental Quiz Bee. It also would like to
strengthen education by promoting academic excellence in Science
among elementary pupils. With this training, it will help develop
the values of perseverance, honesty, and sportsmanship among
pupils as they compete during the quiz bee.

5 Objectives The activity aims to:

a. Determine potential pupils who will represent the District
and compete to the City Environmental Quiz Bee;
b. Strengthen education by promoting academic excellence in
Science among elementary pupils;
c. Develop the values of perseverance, honesty, and
sportsmanship.

6 Expected Accomplishment  The District will be able to conduct the District-Based City
Environmental Quiz Bee and will be able to accomplish the
task and goal of the said activity.

7 Expected Output  The District will be able to determine the top five (5) potential
pupils who will represent the District and compete to the City
Environmental Quiz Bee.
