Model story
Bob always leaves home early in the
morningto get to work. He wears
a safety helmetbecause he rides a
motorbike. The traffic is usually very b
usy in themornings, but Bob can move
between thecars quickly on his
motorbike. One morning, the road was
the busiest Bobhad ever seen it. He
couldn’t see far in frontof him. The
traffic was moving very slowlyand Bob
was getting late for work.Bob was
travelling faster than the cars.Suddenly,
he saw a flash of white hair appearfrom
behind a bus. A dog had run into
theroad, right in front of his
motorbike! Bob stopped his bike so sud
denly that hefell over the handlebars
and onto the hardground. Luckily, he
fell to the side of theroad and away from
the traffic. He saw hismotorbike slide
away across the road. Helooked up and
saw the white dog runningaway. It ran
behind a
van. Bob slowly stood up and looked do
wn.Luckily, he hadn’t hurt himself
badly. He gotback onto his motorbike.
“It’s lucky I waswearing my helmet,”
he thought. He lookedaround for the
dog, but it was nowhere tobe
seen. When he got to work, Bob saw his
boss in thecar park. “Morning Bob!” he
asked. “Haveyou seen my dog?”
