Introduction
Players will develop the unknown land and excavate precious resource. Outsmart
your opponents and claim a bunch of resources!
Objective
The players set out to explore with their explorer. They excavate the land to claim
resources. At the end of the game, the player who excavates most tactfully wins the
game.
Definition
Crowns Tiles (yellow): lands with gold
Other Tile Suits: lands with different kinds of resources
(tiles of the same suit are the same resource)
(The value of the tiles will not be used in this game.)
Coins: excavation tokens
(the value of a coin is its excavation point)
Pawn: explorer
Setup
1. Each player chooses their suit (except the Crowns) and takes the
corresponding 6 coins, a pawn, and a dice. Put the coins face-down and
make sure other players cannot see the value.
2. Shuffle all the tile suits (Crowns and another 2 suits for 2 players) and place
them face-down in a stack on the table.
3. Remove 2 tiles (1 tile for 2 players) in the stack face-down, which means
nobody knows their suit.
4. Draw 1 tile from the stack and place it face-down on the table. Each player
places their pawn on a random square of it.
Gameplay
Each player rolls the dice. The game starts with the player rolled the highest value.
The game proceeds clock-wise. On your turn, you will perform three player actions in
order:
1. Explore: Draw a tile from the stack. You may look at its suit, then place it face-
down so that its edges match the edges of adjacent tiles. Also, you must place it
adjacent to the tile where your opponents are located if able. If there is no place
like this, you can place it anywhere that matching the edges.
Example: Valid places in different conditions
On blue player’s turn, they draw a tile and place it on Now it’s a 3-players game. On blue player’s turn, the

2. Move: Roll the dice and move your explorer. The value you rolled determines
how far your explorer will move (null means 1-5 optionally; ace means 1). You
must move the explorer and the number of steps should be the same with that
value. The explorer can only move to an adjacent square which matching the
edges, and it cannot go through another explorer (excavation tokens are
allowed). You also cannot move it back to the last square it came from.

Example: Score
The player with the highest score is the winner. If there is a tie, the player who
excavated more lands wins. If ties again, the player who excavated the most same
resource wins. If it’s still a tie, the player who excavated the most gold wins.
