Reading Log Grading Scale Example

0 marks: pages read 22, date 06, No description

1 mark: pages read 22, date 06, below minimal description

The ship is being destroyed. Why are the names of the crew numbers? I predict
they’ll be saved.

2 – 3 marks: pages read 22, date 06, minimal description

I thought it was confusing that chapter 2 opened with a ship being destroyed and the
crew members absorbing the hull. I wonder who is the crew and why do they have
the power to stabilize the ship? I predict the crew are still alive after they were buried
for thousands of years.

4-5 marks: pages read 22, date 06, above minimal description.

I thought it was confusing that chapter 2 opened with a scene where a ship was
being destroyed and that crew was stabilizing the ship by absorbing the interior of
the ship to support the exterior of the ship. The scene was difficult to follow I was not
privy to how and why the ship was being destroyed. I wonder how the inhabitants
were able to stabilize the ship? Moreover, I am curious as to why the ships is being
destroyed in the first place? I predict that after the crew went unconscious after
stabilizing the ship and the ship being buried under the soil of Earth that crew will
wake up and either use their powers to save Earth or destroy Earth.
