Here is an example of the procedure I use to create a basket:

1. With Metatrader 4 closed, place the Basket_Price_v2.exe indicator in the experts/indicators folder of
your MT-4 program. Place the BT_14_v9nb.exe file
from page 1 of the Basket Trading EA forum in the Experts folder of your MT-4 program.
2. Start MT-4 and open a 1 minute USD/JPY chart.
3. From the Insert/Indicators/Custom menu, load the Basket_Price_v2.exe indicator onto the chart.
4. From the Charts menu, open the Properties dialog box of the indicator.
Set TF=15 and BasketPreFix to #JPY-15#.
Enter the 7 JPY pairs in the first 7 input boxes. All other boxes must be blank. Click "OK".
5. From the File/Open Offline menu, locate and open the offline chart you just created, #JYP-15#,M15.
6. From the View/Navigator/Expert Advisors menu, drag and drop the BT_14_v9nb file over the offline
chart. The EA dialog box should load. Enter the 7 JPY pairs in the first 7 pair input boxes leaving all others
blank. Should you desire to alter any other settings, consult the operating guide included with the Zip
file on page 1. Upon exiting the EA input dialog menu, the JPY template should load.
I have successfully generated USD, EUR, GBP, JPY-USD and the default 14 pair baskets using this
procedure.
NOTE: Due to technical difficulties with BT_14_v9nb, BT_14_v8nb is used for the GBP basket.

Yes
1) Load the EA on a single pair chart (GBPJPY)
2) Just set the Enable_Basket_Pair_Link = false
3) Enter a text file name of the pairs you want to trade into the Import_Pair_List_Name = JPY7, OR Type
them in into the list leaving the blank ones at the bottom of the list.
4) If you have a suffix be sure to put it in the suffix setting.
The EA will now watch the GBPJPY chart for its signals and will enter trades for all the pairs in the JPY7
basket.

 hey guys, i need a little advice. i'm going to start trading the C14 on a 15m TF. any idea of the
settings that have worked best for this basket ? also, the 1h would be nice too. Thanks in

I have set up all the baskets in the zip file on the M15 and have adjusted the settings a little different for
each and will see what happens this week.
All with no TP and using the HAS exit, I am just going to let the robot run 24/7 and see what happens, no
manual intervention.
Will see the results at the end of the week and then maybe tweak the settings.
Will need to determine the best settings and also even the best days to trade each basket.
