I would like to work in a position where I can have a positive impact on the
lives of the youth in my community. My goal is to help them to learn skills that will increase
their ability to withstand difficulties and to grow up to be productive member of society.
Because this community is so diverse, I find great pride in the fact that I embrace and accept
those from different backgrounds, family structure, socioeconomic status, and lifestyles and
value them and their role in the community.

of student services, classroom lessons on social and emotional subject

I work with children diagnosed with Autism to increase self-help, verbal

communication skills, among other things using the principles and
techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis. I work closely with Program
Supervisors and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to develop and
implement programming in order to increase functional behaviors and
decrease maladaptive behaviors in the clients. I also provide parent
training, and encourage the participation of parents and caretakers in the
treatment process so they can implement the goals into their daily lives in
order to increase the learning of the client.

I began as a file clerk with Happy Faces FFA, I was soon promoted to a
Certification Specialist position. As the Certification Specialist, I worked with
potential foster parents to coordinate and complete their training and
paperwork, in order for them to be certified as Foster Parents. During my
time with the agency I also supervised visits between foster children and
biological parents, and helped provide transportation for the foster children
when needed. My duties included filing, data entry, training, coordination,
maintaining positive relationships with clients and following strict Title 22

one with students to increase understanding of the material. I have also lead group activities
and chaperoned field trips.

I have worked alongside coaches and board members in order to ensure a safe, fun, and
positive environment for children while they develop their skills in the game of soccer. I have
served as a team manager, treasurer, and assistant coach.
