Facebook is the most popular social networking sites. It can be access by

anyone nowadays. Facebook plays a massive role in our community because

it can be used to interact or socialize with other people. It can be access in

IV. Conceptual Framework

The study claims that Facebook gives Impact to the emotions of Grade 7

students. Study says Facebook can make someone happy, according to the

American Marketing Association, says that Facebook likes are the same as

getting a ‘hug’. This suggests that perhaps, if you’re getting positive feedback

in Facebook – likes and shares - it’s a positive reinforce of using Facebook.

Dopamine, the reward hormone, is what can get us addicted to things or

activities. According to Susan Weinschenk, a behavioral psychologist,

presents us with the dopamine loop we get from Facebook causes and is

activated by anticipating reward and causes us to seek further anticipation.

Study also says that Facebook can also make someone sad or negative

emotions. According to a study from the American Journal; of Preventative

Medicine, the more time young adults spend on Facebook the more likely

they are to perceive themselves as socially isolated. This might be further

compounded by self-esteem issues, as those with low self-esteem are more

likely to post negative messages, which makes them less likable.
