The tenth batch of 120 MBA students of Manipal Institute of

Management of Manipal University are passing out this year
in May 2011. On behalf of the Institute and University I extend

forms an integral part of Manipal culture, where all

FINNACLE
The Finance students forum of Manipal Institute of
Management, “FINNACLE” organized a two day B-school
fest, "Investor's Meet" on 4th & 5th September, 2008.
Several Finance students of various B-schools
participated in this event. On the second day, Finance
related management events were conducted for the
participants. This forum organised workshop on
Derivatives, Corporate Etiquette and Manners, academic
competition such as Tax-Tatva and Industrial tour for
Finance students.

Students of Healthcare Management Specialization
organized Insight'09, a National level workshop. Many
delegates from the field of Healthcare participated in this

A workshop on Leadership Development was organized
by HR Club, 'HuRricane' of Manipal Institute of

Forum for Learning and Acquiring Marketing Excellence
(FLAME), student forum of Marketing specialization of
Manipal Institute of Management organized an
intercollegiate fest "M_echelon'08" on 13th and 14th
October 2008.
International Health Conference:
Manipal institute of Management hosted an International
Conference on health care market and emerging
consumers-Innovation, Efficiency and Effectiveness from
januray 21-23 which embarked upon enormous
opportunities in India to grow horizontally and vertically
and provide quality services at affordable prices to the
emerging consumers. It also emphasized on enhancing
both preventive and curative healthcare domains with
wider frame of healthcare feasibility to the general public.

Idea generation is a programme conducted jointly by
Phillips and Manipal university to bring out the innovative
ideas from the students which will serve for the best of the
community. Every new idea will be awarded and
encouraged to be put it into action.

Students actively participate in many intercollegiate
competitions conducted in and outside the university and

Manipal Institute of Management celebrated its decennial
celebrations on 20th march. Over the years Institute has
endeavoured to impart quality education to the young
aspirants to shape up their future. It is an Institute with a
