Minutes of the 826th Meeting of the Junior Curia Maria Coronata held in 2nd
Floor of Multi-Purpose Hall San Roque Parish Church last February 3, 2019
I. The meeting started at 2:00 PM with an Opening Prayer and Rosary led by Sis. Judith Abogadie,
President

II. The Spiritual Reading was taken from English Handbook Chapter 41 Item#2 “Within its Own
Ranks”, EHB pp. 326

III. Minutes
The minutes of the 825th meeting was read with no suggestion and correction.

V. Senatus and Commitum Report:

The Senatus and the Commitum Report was reported by Sis. Judith Abogadie, President
- Everyone are still encourage every legionaries to have a monthly pledges for Our Lady’s home
construction.

VII. Reports:
a. Our Lady of the Rose
Bro. Kenneth Samson (President of Inang Kaibigibig) reported their Semi-annual report covering the
month of August to January 2019.
Membership Profile and Percentage of Attendance:
Active member- 4 Auxiliary members- 4
Officers- 56.4% Members-

Works undertaken are the following:

 Alay Kapwa Teaching Person, Bringing Children to Mass, Distribution of Catholic Literature,
Distribution of Religious Article, Graces before and after meal, Praying the Rosary, Ordinary
Mass Devotion and Visit made to the Blessed Sacrament.
Problems encountered are low percentage of attendance, lack of members and knowledge about our
faith. Plans to be undertaken are to recruit active and auxiliaries’ members and follow-up attendance.

 To Report next month (March 2019) is Mary, Queen of the Apostles

VIII. Catena Legionis
After clearing all the reports, everybody stood up for the Catena Legionis at 2:50 PM

IX. Allucutio:
The Allucutio was given by Sis. Judith
“Mary invite us to work to promote the dignity of all our brothers and sisters. We are all equals in
the magnificent eyes of the Lord. Inside our organization, we treat each other’s even. The best
example of that is our former Curia president who didn’t want to be called Doctor because in God’s
eyes and Mary’s heart, we are brothers and sisters. Let us now turn to Our Blessed Virgin Mother in
prayer, so that she may help us recognize the face of God in every man and woman of our time”

X. Point to be stressed
The point to be stressed was read by Bro. Kenneth Samson
“ The spirit of distinction is evidence of the absence of the first qualification for membership, which
is the spirit of love. The whole idea and spirit of the Legion is one of intense charity and sympathy,
which before radiating its warmth outside must first of all burn brightly and strongly on the domestic
hearth of the Legion itself.” EHB p. 326
