“Narrative Report about Culminating Activity”

Last week, February 21, 2019 the culminating activity that many grade – 12
students awaited was happened. Including the section of GAS (A), GAS (B), HUMSS (A),
HUMSS (B) ABM and HE. This activity is a substitute for the work immersion in all Grade
12 students under the K – 12 curriculum. Before this activity happen, we first plan what
are things that we need to use and what kind of project is needed in this kind of booth.
Unfortunately, our group was given a “Core Subject” which consist of 15 subjects
including all subjects in Senior High School. The booth and project we created started in
planning and brainstorming of ideas. Our group consist of 16 members. At first week of
meeting I was so confused and frustrated because I don’t know how the 16 members
creates an output for 15 subjects. We also experienced difficulties mostly in budgeting
because some of our group members didn’t know what to do in this activity. For me as
a leader of the group with a different section I struggled in deciding. Some of my
groupmates are against on the idea which I presented to them but in the end, we all
agree in all ideas which I presented.
All in all, after a week too busy, thinking now the ideas and all outputs to make
we made our booth and projects successful even some of my groupmate’s fights,
argumenting in their ideas, conflict, confused and frustrated. We didn’t expect that our
group get a score of 95. I was happy also because even all the struggles and problem
we faced, we achieved a grade which we deserved after all the effort we exert. I also
found out that we can’t create a better output if we are not coordinating and
cooperating to each other. We need to respect what’s other ideas and point of view. We
don’t need to force what another member can’t do, just ask and tell them what they
can help because we are different to each other. If you can make those kinds and they
can’t, don’t be so proud, be humble because these are thing that they can do but you
can’t.
