MARIA CRISTINA KATE Q.

DAUS

1. Do you consider Jose Rizal a revolutionary? Why or Why not?

Yes, I consider Jose Rizal a revolutionary because he fought for our country with pen. He

died in honor for our country and we respect that he also made the books El Filibuterismo

and Noli Mi Tangere to fight for our country and he has been through a lot of sacrifices

because of the Spaniards. He was also one of the Secret Society by Andres Bonifacio, the

KKK. So we must honor and respect him as our National Hero.

2. What do you know about Martial Law and Ferdinand Marcos?

President Marcos, imposed Martial Law on the nation from 1972 to 1981 to suppressed the

increasing civil strife and the threat of Communist takeover following a series of Bombings

in Manila. When he declared Martial Law in 1972, Marcos claimed that he had done so in

response to the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and the sectarian rebels of

Mindanao Independence Movement (MIM).

3. Why does it seem acceptable in the Filipino society for a husband to have an affair with

other women?

Its very inappropriate. But people accept the fact that it’s quite good for husband have an

affair for the reason that they are “men” and believe that if women commit adultery it’s

very sinful.
4. Do you feel that you can trust the Supreme Court?

Yes, somehow, because since we are all Filipinos here, we could still trust the supreme

Court. The people in the Supreme Court now is different from the former one’s. So, if we

put our trust in them, this might motivate them to do good at serving the Filipino citizens.
