NOTE:
● On the day of the experiment, let the lab instructor knows that you’re there. Then, hand over the
report of the previous experiment to the corresponding lab instructor and discuss for the viva (post-
test), if applicable. Then, go back to your current experiment and do the pre-test (starting from the
3rd experiment onwards).
● DO NOT come late!!! 50% marks deduction on the pretest and 10% group marks deduction will be applied
to those (individual & group) who come late!
● DO NOT come unprepared! GA students will conduct a pretest, starting from the 1st experiment (week 3),
prior to the experiment to check if each student understands what to do. Pretest can be conducted in the
form of interview, short quiz or practice.

APPENDIX IV: COURSE REFLECTIONS
Each student should write a reflection on this Chemical Engineering Laboratory I. The reflection should
include:
1) What you have learned and/or any interesting thing from each experiment that you’ve done.
2) What are the difficulties that you’ve faced
3) What is (are) their suggested action/corrective plan to make this lab better
The course reflection will be discussed during the final presentation in week 13.
Use the following Gibbs Reflective Cycle to guide you in writing the reflection.
