Haziq: Hello Irfan, we are good. How about you?

Irfan: Im fine thanks you, have you guys noticed our weather are getting hotter day by day?

Qamarul : Yes, It is true. My parents were discussing the same phenomenon last night!

Yaasin : Do you know the reason behind this climatic and seasonal change?

Haziq : From what I heard from the news, the reason behind this climatic and seasonal charge
are because of climate change and global warning

Irfan : What is climate change?

Qamarul : Climate change is the catch-all term for the shift in worldwide weather phenomena
associated with an increase in global average temperatures.

Yaasin : Yes, It is real and temperatures have been going up around the world for many
decades.

Haziq : Even though climate change may increase the temperature by 1 Celsius but It cause a lot
of trouble?

Irfan : So what can these climate change cause other that just a lot of hot air?

Qamarul : Firstly, climate change cause an extreme weather.This is because when oceaon water
get warmer at surface ,the more of it vaporizes into the air.
Yaasin: This means parcel of air in the ocean picking up more water than they used to , which
lead to heavier rains and help drive the biggest storms and floods.

Haziq : In the recent 4 years, it cause Hurricane Sandy and super-typhoon Haiyan
Qamarul : Not only that, climate change can also cause glacier ice in the artic melt which lead to
sea rising gonna up to 70 meters

Yaasin : If the sea rising ,people who live the sea coast have to move , where they want to go?

Irfan : What cause this climate change phenomenon to happen?

Haziq: Undoubtedly, these changes are there because

of the environmental degradation due to colossal deforestation and burning of
fossil fuels! Global warming is tangible now! Earlier we just talked about it;
now we have started seeing its effects!

Yaasin: If this pollution is not controlled, the

future is going to be very grim. Life conditions will become unbearable! What
can be done to save our environment?

Qamarul: I whole-heartedly agree with you. The only

solution to this very critical problem is people’s mass participation in saving
the environment. Mass forestation drive, and stopping the use of fossil fuels
altogether can solve this problem.

Irfan: Is it possible?

Yaasin: Certainly it is. There are other alternative

fuels available. The government must act strictly. There should be a ban on
fossil fuels. The government must create forest belt near every city or town.
Toxic emissions of industries must be strictly regularized. This problem is

controllable.

Irfan: But will people cooperate with the

government?

Haziq: Sure they will, who does not want to live? Besides, we must leave a better planet for the
coming generations. All that is needed is the proper sensitization of people.
