Teaching Philosophy

Teaching philosophy “is a self-reflective statement of your beliefs about teaching

and learning”(Center for Educational Innovation).

Teaching philosophy of education, students must have a stimulating learning

environment to help students physically, mentally and socially. For example,
students need a safe environment and good educational opportunities like
providing for them, in class technology like computers. According to Maria
“incorporating new technologies into lessons” (Maria, 2013). Students need to
have technology during their learning in the classroom it help them and improve
their skills by practicing by using technology.

A positive environment an important part of my educational philosophy is

classroom management. Help students if they face problems and deal with
students positively and give them a chance to feel confident. Also, the classroom
must have cooperation and mutual respect to feel safe and work effectively with
each other.

Although, positive classroom management it’s important for teacher and

students, so the teacher should motivate students in a positive way like reword
the students who are following the rules and excellent in the classroom, Also
punish the students who have negative behaviors. According to Skinner ”He
believed the best way to understand behavior is to look at the causes and
consequence” (McLeod, 2018).

The positive and negative reinforcement strategy will help the teacher to have a
positive environment in the classroom and increase learner’s behaviors to be
active.

A great teacher should have good teaching environment and management, For
example, a clear objective, effective skills and good communication with a partner
to be successful. Also, a great teacher knows how to grab students attention
because its teacher responsibility to let students feel they are successful and
comfortable during teaching.
The purpose of teaching philosophy helps us set goals for professional growth in
teaching and provide evidence of your teaching effectiveness and help us to
achieve the goals.

My belief that in order for students to stay intrinsically motivated them must be
able to take ownership over their learning. This happens in my classroom through
exploration processes that provide a version of entertainment that can compete
with the types of entertainment that provide engagement outside of school.

I believe that teaching philosophy most effective learning strategy. And students
learning beast by providing a positive environment to grab them also a good
classroom environment allows the students to have a greater respect and
connection while cooperatively and working together. I believe this happens
through a teacher who has positive expectations for student success and an
effective classroom manager, which I desire to always be in my teaching practice
classroom.
