SCOPE & OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT

The Project 17 Corp. is responsible for Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation
(EPCI) of a 26-inch gas export trunkline and 14-inch and 8-inch service trunklines, as well as
EPCI work for the Zohr gas field, development in deep water (up to 1700 metres) of 6 wells and
the installation of the umbilical system. Work will start in July 2016 and is due to be completed
by the end of 2017, with the goal of delivering first gas on December 2017. This will guarantee
the safe passage of quality natural gas to the final consumers, meeting Egyptian demand for
the coming decades, also contributing with energy stability in Egypt and the Mediterranean.
Zohr’s launch is going to be the result of our ability, our technological innovation and our
tenacity in pursuing even the most challenging of objectives, delivering a product of high
quality, on time and in a safe way for everyone involved in the process.
