Lessons learnt

The following is a SWOT analysis of the proposal that was carried in a bid for the

business to decide whether to introduce a new product to its range of stock. One should note that

this SWOT analysis is not a representation of the entire company, but the factors that may

influence the ability of the organization to present a new product. Internal and external factors

that popped out from the analysis had some strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats.

Strengths

The proposal had some powers which projected the relevance to the audience. The

company decent relationship with consumers enabled an immediate market opportunity. The

organization boasts a strong sales staff who have extensive knowledge of existing products and

market factors. They have ensured that there is an excellent internal communication within the

firm. Strategies for marketing have already been created, and a good reputation when it comes to

innovation has been put to favor the company (Bağcı, 2017).

Weakness

The company is encountering some weakness while presenting their proposal. It is

greatly struggling to archive the deadlines, a factor that may substantially affect production. The

data used is outdated (Carey, 2015). These may, in turn, mislead the company. The company is

experiencing a problem with cash flow and holding too much stock due to a small supply chain.
REFLECTIONS 3

Opportunities

There are some of the opportunities that are associated with the proposal. One of the

possibilities is the presence of similar commodities on the market that did not tend to be reliable,

and they are expensive. Also, the organization boasts loyal customers creating a ready market.

Threats

In any organization, there are always some treats and risks that may bring down the day

to day activities. In the company, local competitors have a substitute product which may cause

flooding in the market. They have also brought forth a new campaign for advertising forcing the

organization to go for ultra-modern strategies of marketing which may be quite expensive. Shops

have been brought up in the market creating congestion (Kumar, 2012).
