Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone

17 years old of existence in this world I Prince Josh Hurtado finally find my self
that I always love to read a book. Many books I’ve been read but Harry Potter is the first
book I read and it catch my attention so I like it and I read it.

The author of the book Harry Potter is J.K Rowling or we called in a full name
Joanne Kathleen Rowling. J.K Rowling is Born on July 31, 1965 near at the Bristol,
England. She is a British author and a creator of the popular and critically acclaimed Harry
Potter series. On 1st September 1998 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was
published in the U.S.A by Scholastic.

Harry Potter live in a normal world people called the “MUGGLES”. Mr. and Mrs.
Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal.
When they go to the zoo for Dudley's birthday, Harry encounters a snake and the snake
is talking to Harry. He's able to speak to the friendly reptile and somehow seems to have
removed the glass from its cage, so it can go back to Brazil. After the trip to the zoo,
mysterious letters start arriving for Harry.

His uncle, Mr. Dursley, is furious and tries to keep them from Harry. But the letters
keep arriving at such a rapid rate that, the evening before Harry's eleventh birthday, his
uncle takes the whole family to a deserted island to escape all of the mail. They can't hide
for long, Hagrid shows up on Harry's birthday to deliver the letter, and the news that
Harry's a wizard.

Upon their arrival at Hogwarts, the first years are Sorted into one of four houses.
Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville are all Gryffindors (a house known for bravery); Malfoy
is a Slytherin (a house known for ambition, and infamous for producing dark wizards).
They begin taking all kinds of classes in magic. Harry dislikes the Potions teacher, Snape,
who is unfair and kind of mean.
 Malfoy becomes a big bully or problem to Harry. During their first broom-flying
lesson, he teases Neville. In defending Neville, Harry realizes he's a natural at flying. He's
a comfortable on a broomstick. Although Harry's broken rules by flying, but Professor
McGonagall rewards him by putting him on the Gryffindor Quidditch team as Seeker. As
the first Quidditch match approaches, the three friends suspect Snape of wanting the
package from Gringotts. During the game, Harry's broom acts weird and seems to be
hexed. Harry's saved, but his friends blame Snape for putting him in danger.

For Christmas, Harry receives his father’s invisibility cloak, and he sneak out in the
school, unseen. He see a Mirror of Erised, which you can see the deepest desire of your
hearts.

That night they try to retrieve the Stone. Neville attempts to stop them, so they
have to temporarily paralyze him with magic. They pass by the three-headed dog by
playing it music, only to meet with another series of challenges. The chess game takes
Ron out, leaving Harry and Hermione to solve a logic puzzle and drink potions to go
forward. There's only one can go through, so Harry go on and sends Hermione back for
help.

Harry runs and He finally saw Quirrell, not Snape. Quirrell reveals that Voldemort
is living in him like a parasite. He tries to use Harry to get the Stone. Quirrell/Voldemort
tries to kill Harry, but when he touches Harry, he burns. Harry blacks out.

When Harry comes to, he's in the infirmary with Dumbledore, and Quirrell is dead.
Dumbledore explains that Harry defeated Quirrell/Voldemort through the protection of his
mother's love. He also mentions that the Stone has been destroyed.

EVALUATION OF THE CONTEXT

 The authors wants us to enlighten our minds about the witchcraft and the wizard
world. The most wonderful and I like most about this book is all about the scene. J.K
Rowling has a creative mind. The point of the author is clearly proven because in the
book it self we can imagine what is going on and the amazing part is the words use about
the spell.

CONCLUSION

I conclude that reading this book, you should have a creative minds and make time
to think about the scene.
Some scene in Harry Potter book has a difficult to understand and all you need is
to be overthink I mean you need to think beyond on your small imagination.
