Settlement/2017/1525 dated 20-03-2017 wherein LC No. 521407 is approved with the condition
that Rs.8424/- may first be recovered before passing settlement voucher. In this context, it is
apprised that a loan of Rs.170,000/- disbursed dated 10-02-2016 after repayment of all previous
outstanding dues under this Loan Case and the heirs of deceased borrower who died on 07-03-
2016 repaid Rs.170,000/- as per Bank requirement. But the loan ledger statement from DiMIS
shows nil balance at one hand and on the other hand showing Rs.8424/ as outstanding which is
itself contradicting. Statement of account and loan ledger statement extracted from DiMIS of
same loan case also does not tally with each other. Actually it is problem arose in DiMIS which
does not provide accurate figures. Your kind honor is requested to please consider this proposal
on sympathetic grounds we are sending herewith once again and to settle the recommended
amount of Rs.25,378/ as it is genuine according to Bank’s instructions. A hand written accurate
statement of account for this Loan Case duly attested is also enclosed herewith.

Borrowers offered agri land situated in Mustafabad pertaining to circle 043 as security and the
same was accepted by the then MCO. Afterwards, the same circle of Mustafabad was
bifurcated towards Adda Machianwala Branch. During all this time period, these loan cases
were remained in same circle i.e. 043.
The area accepted as security was under litigation at the time of loan processing. Later on, the
litigation resulted into returning of area back from the ownership of borrowers decided by the
honorable court thus leaving behind loans without any security.
On surfacing such ambiguities, the then Bank Officials as a prophylactic measure got arranged
mortgage of landed area belong to borrowers situated at Chak No. 180/EB which was also
under the jurisdiction of Vehari Branch. It is worth noted that this alternative security was
neither offered by respective borrower nor worked out by the MCO at the time of loan
processing.
Area mortgaged as alternative security situated at chak no. 180 EB was not under borrowers’
possession at the time of its mortgage, and the same status persists till date.
