 What is the overall aim of your research? (i.e. what does your research want to

achieve? This is usually linked to title)

 What are the objectives (or steps) to achieve your aim? (Break down the aim in

more ‘manageable’ steps – there are usually similarities between the thesis

chapters and research objectives)

 What is your research approach (i.e. data types, collection techniques, analysis

etc.)?

 What is your sample? And why?

 What limitations does your research have?
