for the NEW engine service tool of Hino engine. (Hino DXⅡ)

1. Background of this issue

The new engine service tool for Hino engine(Hino DXⅡ) has been set as a KOBELCO tool because existing
service tool (Hino DX) only support Microsoft OS until Windows7 and the exhaust gas regulation until Tire4.
Hino DXⅡsupports also the OS after windows7 and the exhaust gas regulation after Tire4. [K000-30-004]
Refer to the following instructions and flowcharts to make sure operational rules.

2. Overview
Tool Information
The parts number and image are as follow.
Software：Download from Web Site.
(HGSPS：Hino Global Service Portal Site https://hinogsps.com/sites/en )
<Operating environment>
・CPU；32-bit processor of 1 GHz or higher
・Memory (RAM)；1 GB or higher
・Capacity of hard disk drive；100 GB or more (SSD compatible)
・OS；Windows 7 or later
・Required software；Internet Explorer 7.0 or later / Acrobat Reader

Interface ：DST-i ※DST-i of using in DX is also available in DXⅡ.

・DST-i is available from parts center.

Charge of Hino DXⅡ

・User ID - 10 USD/year
・License - 420 USD/year
User ID renewal is every January. (automatic renewal)
※User ID is necessary to use the tool.

Share to use
The user ID is available for any DST-i interface.
One User ID can be shared in 2PCs. (Password is common)
Password expiration date is 185 days.
※Online connection is necessary to change password.

When Hino DXⅡ is used
Engine failure diagnosis / ECU software update / Exchange of ECU , DCU , injector , Fuel pump ,
Common rail etc.

3. Subscriber Agreement
The contract between Subsidiaries and KCMJ is necessary.
CS Dept. will send the Subscriber contract form to subsidiaries.

4. License
1) License Registration
Send Hino DXⅡ application form to CS Dept.
After License registration, CS dept. send the user ID and password.
Hino DXⅡ application form. Refer to the attached flowchart①.

2) Payment of license and User ID charge

If the Hino DXⅡ is not loged in once a year , license charge will not be charged in next payment time.
However, ｔhe user ID which is registered will be charged every year. (10 USD/year)
License and User ID charge for dealer will be charged to license registration subsidiary in January next year.
Payment period is the March 31next year. Refer to the attached flowchart②.

3) User ID cancellation
When the User ID becomes unnecessary , send Hino DXⅡ application form to Customer support dept.
by 30th November. Refer to the attached flowchart③.

4) PC exchange
When the PC installed Hino DXⅡ is exchanged , send Hino DXⅡ application form to Customer support dept.
Hino will change the User ID information in Hino database.
After change the User ID information, you can access the installed Hino DX II.
Refer to the attached flowchart④.

5) Security check of license (Necessity of online connection)

Each licenses are done security check at the center (Hino's server) for the purpose of using it
in the latest state. Therefore each functions are not available when it passes more than 90 days
after last communicating with the center. However, after the security check deadline, you can use
the tool in offline mode for only 7 days when you log in the first time.
HINO DXⅡmust be periodically connected to the center and activated.

The users can share the language and unit settings via the network.

You can search and download the past work information.
• Automatic reprogramming
HINO DX ൖ , if it detects the latest version of the reprogramming file during diagnosis, displays the file on the screen and
downloads the file when reprogramming the ECU.
After reprogramming, the INF file is automatically uploaded, which saves the labor needed after reprogramming and
prevents you from forgetting to upload the file.

Remedy: Contact the administrator.

PORTAL ACCOUNT LOCK

Cause: Your Portal account has been locked.
Remedy: Wait about 20 minutes and log in again.

NETWORK CONNECTION ERROR AT THE TIME OF INITIAL STARTUP

Cause: You logged in HINO DXൖ with your PC for the first time.
Remedy: When you log in for the first time, connection to the network is required.

OFF-LINE EXPIRATION: FIRST TIME (EXECUTABLE FOR  DAYS)

Cause: Your activation has expired. HINO DXൖ must be periodically connected to the Portal and activated.
Remedy: A warning message appears at the time of the first off-line expiration. Activate HINO DXൖ within  days.
Off-line login: Available However, activation is needed within  days.

OFF-LINE EXPIRATION: 7 DAYS AFTER EXPIRATION

Cause: Your activation has expired. HINO DXൖ must be periodically connected to the Portal and activated.
Remedy: Immediately activate HINO DXൖ.
Off-line login: Unavailable

ILLEGAL TIME ADJUSTMENT

Cause: The PC clock has been changed significantly after the previous use of HINO DXൖ.
Remedy: Immediately activate HINO DXൖ.

TOTAL USAGE TIME OVER

Cause: The maximum allowable usage time has been exceeded after the last activation.
Remedy: Immediately activate HINO DXൖ.
