Detailed Lesson Plan in Science V

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
 Identify the different colors of white light; and
 Classify black objects to colored objects.

A. Topic: Colors and Heat Absorption
B. Science Concept:
 Absorption – happens when light gets through the object.
 Reflection – happens when the light that hits an object is bounced back to the
object.

- Now, let us further discuss why do objects
appear black and colored?

throught the object.
- Reflection happens when light that
hits an object is bounced back by the
object.
- Black is the absence of all colors, ir
does not reflect any of the colors but
rather absorbs all of them.
- White is the presence of all colors. It
reflects all the colors and does not
absorb any of it.
